Victoria Radio Control Modelers Society. Here you'll find information about the Club, a list of our planned events, a map to our field and resources for flyers. We have an associate membership program available if you would like to participate in the club on a non flying or guest basis and we are always accepting applications from folks interested in flying at Michell Airpark.

VRCMS is also the home of Victoria's Largest Little Airshow, held in August. The event raises tens of thousands of dollars for local charities and showcases not only the extraordinary local modelcraft and flying talent but also features some of the worlds best pilots and modelers!

Quique wins the World F3A Championships!
Almost as exciting as VRCMS's own Dave Reaville's performance at the worlds, was Quique Somenzini's overall win of the Championship! Since QQ is a good friend of the Victoria Club and he has been so generous to our fundraising air show efforts, it makes it a very special win! He also did it in his home country in front of all of his family and friends! After returning to the USA, Quique graciously devoted a day to answering questions from anyone that logged on to the Flying Giants Community website forum. During this discussion Victoria and our Air Show were brought up and Quique had this to say about Victoria: "Dear Friends, Thank you ver much for your post. My thanks is to you for invite me for the last two years to be part of such an important airshow. Victoria is a beatiful town amazing views. The show is run very professionally and incredible support from the city, the modellers, the press and everyone on that area!. The group lead by Mike, Jack and this year Mark (Pedro) do an incredible job and I am very happy to be part of the show. Thank you guys and I will see you in August at Victoria!" ...Please ensure you are familiar with the Michell Airpark regulations. click here Please Remember that there is NO flying before 10 AM.

Guest Program
....We have a guest program in place that allows non-member flyers to bring a plane to fly; however, you will have to be hosted by one of the 9 members of the VRCMS safety committee. All aircraft flying at Michell field will be subjected to a brief inspection and sound test before they can fly. We do our best to be respectful neighbours and safe, quiet planes are an intregral part of that!
