Membership

The Victoria Radio Control Modelers Society has a limit on the number of memberships available.
However we are always accepting applications from prospective members - memberships become open every year.  You are  welcome and encouraged to attend our club meetings.

Every member of our club has gone through a process that involves becoming a probational member to start and advancing to having full flying privileges. Each year the Safety Committee reviews the prospective member(s) and what each person offers to the club.
We have been very successful in building a strong group of pilots/members that are able to give back to the community as well as the club.  We do not have minimum requirements to join the club, nor is previous RC experience necessary.  We have one of the best instructional training programs in Canada.

Our goal is to attract prospective new members who can offer more than just flying skills to the club.  Participation in club events is expected and is critical to our success in the community and a key element in becoming a member.  Every year we host a number of events at the field and one in particular we are very proud to host for aeronautic enthusiasts in Greater Victoria. This event is Victoria’s Largest Little Air Show and since its inception in 2001 we have raised over $338,000 for local charities.
